Hannam-Dong Nights
3 sisters in a diner in Hannam, placing orders on a screen, escaping the afternoon heat, consuming an assortment of greens.
Like a drawn arrow waiting for its release, the afternoon heat tumbles from its peak. Followed by a deafening sound, millions of tears fall onto the Hannam-Dong ground.
The sisters seek shelter in a nearby store; turns out people are here for the 45 rpm sounds. 30 minutes and one groove per person, kicking off a collective silent party, emerging movements but the sound remains unknown.
As the night comes to an end, a final side quest commences. Lured by the soft bossa nova sounds, the sisters watch the night’s final scene: a muted romantic dinner of a couple across the street.
