II. Laundry Lines

Laundry Lines Tōkyō I are intimate and publicly displayed tales of Tōkyō citizens. This series juxtaposes the mystique and the obvious. The observer desires to get a glimpse into these individuals's laundry businesses, but he is denied this insight. What remains is an abundance of space for imagination and many more laundry lines to peek at.

In Tōkyō II the observer is on a quest to find more laundry lines, hoping to learn more about these individuals. While some displays are overt, others remain only partially visible.

In Mediterranean, the observer is greeted by rows of laundry lines across the Mediterranean coast. The scene is filled with warm, golden hour light and a sense of ease, just as the cloth is slowly swaying in sync with the flow of the evening wind.
